I don’t know about you guys, but cooking dinner always stresses me out. My to do list is always a mile long and after a full day of working, homeschooling, cleaning, and taking care of my toddler, cooking is the last thing I want to do. So I usually try to find simple, healthy, one pot meals with as little meal prep as possible. I was recently at Walmart browsing the frozen vegetable aisle and found something that has made cooking dinners much easier: Pop & Cook.
Pop & Cook are fresh herbs that are frozen, chopped, measured, and ready to be thrown into your dishes. No more messing with the hassle of peeling and mincing garlic. No more teary eyes over dicing up onions. No more having to clean up cutting boards and knives after chopping up herbs. Pop & Cook takes care of all of that for you! You can choose from garlic, basil, cilantro, parsley, chili and ginger. They take the products from the fields at peak freshness and then flash freeze them within 90 minutes. They are exclusively sold at Walmart and are not only super affordable, but since they stay in the freezer they have a shelf-life of two years!
I want to share one of my favorite recipes that has been made easier with Pop & Cook. Since I no longer have to peel and mince my own garlic, it only takes a few minutes to prep and you can cook it in one pan! This recipe is for tomato basil chicken in a butter sauce. You can pair it with some pasta as shown, with a side of vegetables or a salad, or even eat it on its own!
You can find Pop & Cook in the frozen vegetable aisle at your local Walmart. It was at the beginning of the frozen vegetable section on the top shelf of my Walmart store. They’re perfect for adding some more flavor to your meals, without the prep or cleanup and no more worrying about wasting herbs! #JustPopandCook
