Raise your hand if your kid is a picky eater? Now raise your other hand if you swore you’d never let that happen. My toddler used to eat everything that we did. Asparagus, salmon, peppers, you name it. Now all of a sudden I have to bribe her to eat vegetables and I have been trying everything I can to keep her eating healthy without a battle. Every afternoon after we finish school, we make a smoothie together. She loves getting to pick out the ingredients that go into them and making it mostly herself. She gets those nutrients she needs and has fun doing so, it’s a win win. The one ingredient that is the base to all of our smoothies is Horizon Organic Grassfed Milk. With no added hormones, no antibiotics, non-GMO, from organic pasture-raised cows, this quickly became a staple in our home.
