Yay for summer! We spent the whole last week on the beach. Our hotel was steps from the ocean which was amazing as the beach has always been my happy place. The sound of the waves crashing, going for walks, looking for seashells, and watching the sunset over the ocean, it’s all so relaxing. Once you have kids, going to the beach can definitely become a little more stressful and a little less relaxing. So I have put together a list of items that I never go to the beach without.
- Large water proof bag to carry everything in
- Beach cart so you can just roll everything onto the beach
- SPF lip balm
- Sunglasses for everyone
- Sun hats
- Beach chairs
- Hair ties
- Tent in case the kids want to get out of the sun for a bit
- Puddle jumper/floaties
- Sand toys
- Swim diapers or a portable potty
- Change of dry clothes
- Plastic bags for the wet clothes
- Coooler full of ice
- Juice/Water bottles
