I don’t know about you guys, but my child LOVES to cook and bake. Anytime she can help me with big meals, baking yummy treats, or even popping something simple into the toaster oven, she is all about it. That’s why I am so excited for an upcoming cooking class for kids event at Macy’s Millenia mall in Orlando, Florida. This event run by Macy’s Culinary Council will be hosted by the amazing Chef Marcus Samuelsson.
Chef Marcus Samuelsson is an award-winning chef and one of my favorite cookbook authors. He is the youngest chef, at age 24, to receive not one, but two three-star reviews at his restaurant in New York by the New York Times. He has even won several popular cooking show competitions like Bravo’s Top Chef Masters and Chopped All-Stars on Food Network
This unique event from Macy’s Culinary Council will take place at Macy’s Millenia Mall in Orlando, Florida on August 5 at 3pm. It will be held on the third floor in the home department and the event is FREE to attend. Kids ages 6-16 are welcome to join in on the fun! To RSVP for the event, please visit this link and sign up for your free seats. The seats are first come first serve so make sure you save your spot.
After the event, I recommend browsing around Macy’s home department for some new cookware or kitchen tools. Any purchase of $35 or more in the home department on August 5, qualifies you for a $10 Macy’s gift card and a chance to meet and take a photo with Chef Marcus Samuelsson himself! (More details can be found in store and here.)
I hope to see you all there! I can’t wait to learn some new cooking techniques and have this fun and exciting hands-on experience with our children. #CulinaryCouncil
