After seeing me curl my hair this week, my toddler was begging me to curl hers. I had never really styled her hair before other than putting it in a pony tail, as she has such a sensitive scalp that everything seems to bother her. Even just brushing her hair is a battle. That’s why I was so excited to see that SoCozy has come out with a line called Hush, specifically for kids with sensitive scalp.
Hush is allergy tested to treat sensitive scalp. It’s non-toxic formula is great for battling tangles, frizz, flakes, and even lice. Most importantly for me, it has no parabens, sulfates, fomaldehyde, phthalates, or synthetic color. I would never put those products on my own skin, let alone on a child’s sensitive skin!
We use the sensitive detangler every morning to get out any bedhead knots, and to keep her hair tangle free all day. The shampoo and conditioner combo comes with a built in soft massaging brush to lift away flakes, dirt, and oil.My husband suffers from psoriasis on his scalp, and it seems my toddler gets scalp buildup too from time to time. So once a week I use the sensitive scalp serum. It helps calm irritation by balancing sebum production, optimizing pH, and restoring moisture.
The Hush sensitive scalp styling foam was perfect for achieving those curls that my toddler wanted. I didn’t want to use hairspray, or any other chemical filled products to keep her curls in tact. After washing her hair, I applied two pumps of foam to her damp hair, then let air dry. I then used my curling wand to quickly add in a few curls here and there. The sensitive styling foam provided the perfect amount of natural-looking hold to keep her curls in all day.
You can find SoCozy products at your local Target store. The brand new Hush sensitive scalp line can be found in the baby aisle!
