Easy Gluten Free Snack for Summer

Thank you to General Mills for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to try these gluten free cereal options! #PublixGlutenFreeCereal

My toddler is in a phase where she will only eat 4 types of food. Cereal, ham and cheese sandwiches, smoothies, and yogurt. She loves LOVES loves yogurt. I can buy her a box of the greek yogurt squeeze tubes and she will eat almost the whole box in a day. I recently came up with a summer time treat that I know she will love. Yogurt bark. I make it in the mornings, we head down to the pool for a few hours, and come back to a nice cold treat. I usually let her throw her favorite cereals on top, which right now are Lucky Charms and Vanilla Chex.

It is a nice healthy snack and thanks to General Mills, and their gluten free cereals, this snack is gluten free too! Next time I go to Publix I am totally picking up some of their new gluten free Chocolate Cheerios to throw on top with some coconut.

To make these yourself, just pour some whole milk vanilla greek yogurt onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet or baking pan. Spread evenly to about a half inch thickness. Add your toppings, I recommend General Mills cereals, some fruit, chocolate chips or coconut. Freeze for 2-3 hours.

I’ve always been a Honey Nut Cheerios gal, but my kids loves Lucky Charms & we would probably both love the Vanilla Chex. I love this snack idea, and with the Arizona’s hot temps, I’m definitely going to try these!
