I have lived in Florida my entire life. I seriously think it is the greatest place ever and I spend as much time as possible out in the sunshine. I see that same excitement of being in the sunny weather from my two year old. We could spend an entire day at the pool and she will never once ask to go home. And this year, we have been at the pool almost every single day. Totally bragging because I think it is pretty amazing and I enjoy every second of it.
But with all of that said, I know about the dangers of the sun here. I know about the risks of skin cancer. And although I was negligent with my own skin my entire young adult life, I will not make that same mistake with my toddler. Enter SwimZip.
SwimZip is stylish and trendy UV 50+ swimwear for babies, toddlers, children…and now mamas too! Their swimwear is uniquely designed allowing for easy-on, easy-off UV protection for children, with no-pinch zipper flap. SwimZip’s material is chlorine resistant too! This is perfect for us since we practically live at the pool.
I first saw this company on Shark Tank, right before our move back to Florida, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. It seems like all of the bathing suits for little kids are two piece bikinis, or one pieces with teeny tiny straps that protect nothing. With SwimZip you don’t have to worry about applying sunscreen to those extra vulnerable areas of skin that should be protected from sun exposure. They even have sun hats to protect those little faces!
They also have matching mommy and me rash guards and swim cover ups. How cute is that?! I can’t wait to get my hands on them before the summer starts. Be sure to check them out here, at SwimZip.com, and let me know what you think! #swimzip
I received free kid’s swimear from SwimZip for writing this post, but my love for this company is all my own!
