Homemade Calzone

Hi, I have a problem.
I am addicted to anything with cheese and pizza sauce.
Meet the reason behind this:

A calzone filled with Ricotta, Mozzarella, Spinach, and Sauce.
Are you drooling yet?
You better believe I ate my entire half, followed by whatever I could lick off of hubby’s plate.
This was after he freaked out over how big it was. (that’s what she said)
And after I lied replied, “We can save any left for tomorrow.”
Psh. I knew I wouldn’t let any of this go to waste.
here’s what you need:
(feel free to add any other fillings you have lying around…like mushrooms, mmmm)
1 package of refrigerated Pillsbury pizza dough
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup chopped spinach
1/2 cup pizza sauce
3 tbs olive oil
now follow these easy steps:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grab a cookie sheet and spread some olive oil on it.
Lay out pizza dough on cookie sheet, unless you have a pizza brick (you fancy, huh?)
Add whatever toppings your heart desires. Add the mozzarella cheese last.
Flip one side over and use a fork to crimp/seal the edges.
Cut 2 holes on top so the steam can escape.
Brush olive oil all over the top because it tastes amazing and makes the Calzone a golden brown.
Cook for 15-20 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.

Pinning this! I was skeptical til I saw "pillsbury". Ain't nobody got time to make dough! I'd eat all the pepperoni while waiting and mixing.

I just found your blog today via Living in Yellow, and I'm already loving it so far! One: because your blog is just plain cute. And two: because of that freaking amazing-looking calzone up there. I pinned it immediately before I even read all the ingredients/instructions… Can't wait to try this out sometime, soon hopefully! And I'm also looking forward to reading more of you blog!

Kristen, your recipes and pics of them all over instagram have GOT TO STOP! Why? Because my husband said the other day (when I showed him a pic of your newest creation
0, "Why don't you love me as much as she loves her husband? She makes him FOOD instead of cereal." Yep, you are now the cause for my marriage's downfall. Thanks 😉
